"Our stay at the cozy West End apartment was fairly comfortable. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. This apartment is better suited to a family who lives together as one bedroom access is through the main bedroom. There is no kitchen. A Keurig and small refrigerator and dishes for takeout so plan on eating most meals out. "

"Great place if you need rest! Loudest noise I heard during the night was a plow truck. Within walking distance to food stores. Full kitchen made life easy; since I travel with a puppy. There is also nice little yard for puppy use right in back. Local dog park within walking distance as well. You can see Mt. Katahdin from right in front of property. Would stay here again for sure. Elizabeth pays attention to the little details for your comfort. "

"Great neighborhood. Walking distance to small town restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Short drive to Augusta with much more shopping and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen with many extras. Bathroom has tub/shower combination that is very nice, but as a senior I found it dfficult to step over the tub to get into the shower. "

"Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable...

"Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive."

"The property was easy to find. Close to shopping but also quiet and peaceful. The apartment was very cozy and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The view is absolutely amazing and wildlife is always in eye shot. I dislike giving it 5 stars simply because I'd like to keep it available for myself. LOL I am looking forward to sraying here again"

"We came to Portland to visit our daughter and had a delightful stay. The apartment is exactly as pictured and was very clean and cute. The linens were luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. If you or someone in your group has mobility issues, the stairs going up to the unit were quite steep. We had two seniors in our group that required some help getting up and down. The location of this property is very convenient to the waterfront, and we were always able to find a close parking...

"Our host was an excellent, prompt communicator. He even offered information about things to do in the area. He was very clear about expectations about our stay which at first was a little off-putting. Cooking no greasy food seemed a little much and had us wondering what was allowed. The property was well stocked and as described including the slanted floor. We weren’t aware at booking that parking was only on the street. That would have been nice to know. It’s a 20 minute walk to downtown which...
