"Overall, it is a great place, but there are no heat vents upstairs which means it is quite cold unless you leave the upstairs doors open so that heat can come up the stairwell. I ended up getting a small space heater to warm up the bedroom I used. I am sure it would be fine in warmer months and I noted that there is a window AC unit in the bedroom closet so summer heat wouldn't be an issue. I would stay here again as it was otherwise perfect me."

"We had wonderful sunny days which we enjoyed hiking but also relaxing back at the house with its gorgeous views of the lake -- from every single room on the lakeside of the house. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. "

"Our family loved visiting the "Train House," as our 4 yr old called it. Such a sweet little gem in a really neat city. Could add a few toys for the kiddos who visit, but all in all, a great stay. Thank you!"

We had figured it would be more space than our family of four would need, but as it turned out we loved having the space to spread out so comfortably, with lots of cozy nooks. The house was immaculate, well furnished with modern decor, and well equipped with everything we needed. "This VRBO rental was really nice and clean, every bedroom was made up really neat and with updated decorations and amenities. The family room was easy to entertainment small children and very cozy when you turned the fireplace on. It was a short 3 min drive to downtown Duluth/Canal Park area for going out to eat and entertainment at night. The only thing I didn't like is that there were full trash bags outside the backdoor when we arrived from previous people. Maybe they could of been taken out...

"Took my wife and three kids and we had a great time! My kids loved playing on the trampoline and in the hot tub! We even found a Wii and they had fun playing some older games! Host was excellent and great with communication! She even mailed us my son’s stuffed animal that he forgot. We would definitely stay here again!"
